Rafael Câmara’s rise toward the highest level of motorsport looks more promising than ever. The Bell Racing-equipped driver clinched the 2025 Formula 3 Championship title with a victory in Race 2 at the Hungaroring – becoming the first driver in the series’ history to secure the crown with one event to spare. “I’m very happy – it has been a long season,” said the Brazilian. “The weekend in Hungary wasn’t easy, but I managed to win the title.”

Câmara’s campaign began on a high in Melbourne, with a pole position converted into his first Feature Race win, followed by a second success at the next event in Bahrain – bringing a Bell Racing helmet to the top step of the podium, right next to the factory where it was manufactured. Despite being a rookie in a very competitive category, the Ferrari Driver Academy member showed a mix of speed and consistency that proved to be the key factor.

“I think after all the preparation we did obviously you always want to win, but I was never expecting to start how we started. After Australia I knew we were in a good place,” he commented, after all his hard work had been rewarded. “A championship is always very tricky, everything can change very quickly, you just have to make sure you are always in the right mindset.”

After a well-deserved summer break, one final round still awaits Rafael – at Monza, a sort of home stop due to his ties with Italy. “I will try to focus now for Monza and finish on a high,” he ensured.

Having secured the Formula Regional European Championship in 2024, Câmara delivered a dominant score this year: four wins, five pole positions, and three fastest laps – all the more impressive considering the limited number of races. He now joins Robert Shwartzman, Oscar Piastri, and Victor Martins in having won the F3 championship with us.

Furthermore, Bell Racing remains the reference helmet brand in the category, with 22 drivers on the 2025 grid using the HP77 model.
